Getting a VI Peel treatment at our med spa is quick and easy - it usually takes around 30 minutes. First, your provider will gently clean your face to remove any oil, dirt, or makeup. After that, they’ll apply the peel solution with soft gauze, layer by layer, making sure it evenly covers the target areas.
You might feel a slight tingling, warmth, or tightening as it goes on, but it’s mild and only lasts for a moment. Some people say their skin feels a bit numb or tight, which is entirely normal. Once it’s fully applied, you don’t wash it off right away. Instead, leave it on for 4 to 6 hours and rinse it off at home later, following the instructions provided.
You can get back to your day right after. Most people start to peel a few days later - that’s when your fresh skin starts to come through. You’ll also get a simple aftercare kit to help your skin recover properly.
