A 59-year-old female patient came to us with concerns about under-eye bags and dark circles caused by a previous filler treatment at another clinic. Instead of improving her appearance, the poorly placed filler created significant puffiness, making her look tired and aged. The natural dark circles from aging were also exaggerated by the unnatural contour created by the excess filler. We dissolved the old filler using hyaluronidase, which immediately resolved the puffiness and restored a smoother under-eye area. Two weeks later, we carefully placed a minimal amount of high-quality filler to address mild volume irregularities and brighten the under-eye area without recreating the puffiness. The result was a refreshed, natural appearance with smooth contours and reduced shadowing, leaving the patient delighted with her rejuvenated look.
